Odissi Mudras are one of the most striking parts of Odissi dance. The mudras convey meaning behind the Abhinaya and add comlpexity to the Pallavis. There are both single and two handed mudras. These pictures depict several single hand mudras.

Orissa Dance Academy is one of the world premier institutions for Odissi dance. Founded in 1975 by Padma Shri Guru Gangadhar Pradhan and today continued with Guru Aruna Mohanty, Orissa Dance Academy remains a cultural institution for the promotion of Odissi and Indian Classical Arts.
