Shakti Dance Company & Shakti School of Bharata Natyam were founded by renowned Bharatanatyam instructor and choreographer Viji Prakash. Since the 1976 Viji pioneered bringing Indian classical dance forms to the western world. Her daughter Mythili Prakash continues to carry this tradition her mother founded.
